Hey, I’m David — founder of S5 Creative.

My journey started early. I still remember the thrill of having my photos displayed at the Iowa State Fair as a kid — proudly standing next to my work, blue ribbon in hand, feeling like I’d found something I was meant to do. That passion for capturing moments never left. If anything, it’s only grown stronger.

S5 Creative is more than just a name — it represents the five Schomers in my family: My wife Sam and I, and our three kids, Ace, Jet, and Mak. Everything I create is rooted in that identity — built to honor them, reflect our story, and hopefully inspire others to tell theirs.

Over the years, I’ve expanded from photography into video, design, music, and live AV. S5 is the space where all those creative threads come together — a place to build bold, meaningful work that’s deeply personal and visually striking.
